Here you find the terms for assignments, recurring services, liability, termination and payment.

Version and effective date

Version v1.1, effective date March 25, 2026.

These terms replace previous versions for corresponding services.

1. Scope

These terms apply to services from Hjernquist IT Konsult, for example web development, software development, consulting, IT support and recurring maintenance.

If there is a conflict between these terms and a written quote/agreement, the quote/agreement prevails.

2. Order and agreement

  • Assignments start only after written confirmation of a quote or another written agreement on the scope of the assignment via email.
  • Scope, price and delivery model are defined before start.
  • Scope changes are handled as additions and may impact price and timeline.

3. Pricing, VAT and payment

  • Website prices are usually shown including VAT unless otherwise stated.
  • VAT is added according to applicable law.
  • Invoice terms are normally 30 days unless otherwise agreed.
  • Late payment interest and reminder fees may apply according to law.

4. Distance contracts and right of withdrawal (consumer)

  • If you order as a consumer (private individual) at a distance, you normally have a 14-day right of withdrawal according to law.
  • If you order as a business (B2B), there is normally no statutory right of withdrawal.
  • If you want me to start the service during the withdrawal period, you must explicitly request this in writing when ordering.
  • If the service has started during the withdrawal period at your explicit request, I may charge proportional compensation for work performed until I receive your withdrawal notice.
  • For a valid withdrawal, reimbursement is handled according to law, with deduction for any proportional compensation for completed work.

5. Client responsibilities

  • The client is responsible for providing correct material and required access in time.
  • Domain, hosting and third-party services remain in the client name unless otherwise agreed.
  • The client is responsible for licenses, rights and content provided to the project.

6. Delivery and liability

  • Delivery follows the agreed plan, subject to dependencies outside Hjernquist IT Konsult's control.
  • Hjernquist IT Konsult is not liable for indirect loss, lost profit or consequential damages.
  • Liability is limited to the amount paid by the client for the relevant service over the last 12 months.

7. Recurring services and termination

  • Recurring services (for example maintenance/support agreements) run until terminated unless otherwise agreed.
  • Termination must be made in writing.
  • Notice period is normally 30 days before the next billing period.
